Yoon & Yang is expanding its range of activities to ensure that vulnerable groups are not excluded from legal support.
Activities for the community start by listening to the voices of those marginalized and offering them support. While a community often refers to a group sharing bonds and interacting within a certain social space, in modern society, communities are also formed based on beliefs and culture rather than blood relations or physical proximity. The true value of a community shines through maintaining
coexistence and solidarity rather than competition. Yoon & Yang is working to prevent the exclusion of vulnerable groups from legal support within the community by expanding into areas such as inter-Korean exchange, overseas adoptees, and specific guardianship.

1Yoon & Yang collaborates with Yoonsan Peace and Law Forum to conduct research on improving inter-Korean relations and provide legal consultation.

2Yoon & Yang represents cases claiming national compensation for illegally adopted overseas adoptees, participates in activities to help overseas adoptees find their roots, and contributes to creating legal guidebooks to protect the rights of overseas adoptees.

3Yoon & Yang participated as a legal support group in the People’s Tribunal on War Crimes by South Korean Troops during the Vietnam War, defining the massacres as war crimes, addressing the issue of the statute of limitations, and leading to claims for national compensation.
